Be a sunflower

Masterpiece


When your living becomes too tense and difficult, try to relax and seek more balance.  Taking a vacation is one way to forget worries.  The “vacation” I am thinking here is not just the “vacation” you are thinking of.  I am talking about a vacation from a problem.  I am talking about a vacation from worrying about how boring or dumb I am.  I am talking about a vacation from worrying about how far we can go, how much we have to do, or how a relationship is nagging us. 




Looking at the lovely sunflower, let’s turn toward the warm light of the sun.

怪事日日有,今年特別多


一雙女裝布拖鞋代表甚麼呢?它的出現會有甚麼玄機呢?拖鞋的主人是誰呢?這雙拖鞋的前世今生會是個怎樣的故事呢?這雙拖鞋究竟經歷了甚麼遭遇,會在一個星期六的早上,齊齊整整、並排的出現在我家車房門的正前方?

經過地氈式搜索,方圓百尺未有發現「身鞋異處」的「無鞋」女屍。巷里間,亦不見因姦不遂受殺害的棄屍。斷估家中有人開slippers party, 我唔會唔知道。打死都唔相信Fairy Godmother 嘅品味,會低落成咁樣;有Cinderella glass slippers唔變,變對咁款嘅布拖嘛?

我承認我看得《Cold Case》多,我確實想多咗啦;但亦不代表這算是平常事。Okay, 我無《Monk》套劇裏面嘅Natalie咁八卦,let go !!!

Let go, Let it be, Be here and Move on


Let go
Often we get so caught up in the seriousness of our situation that we get a little lost in the drama of it all.  It is important to take a break from ourselves every once and while.


Let it be
When you find yourself becoming frustrated, take a few minutes to acknowledge what you are feeling and choose not to react right away.  Sometimes we can feel like something is really a big deal, only to realize a while later it was not such a big deal after all.

Be here
So much of our time is spent fretting over the past or worrying about the future.  Take a moment to just be in the present.  Look around you and focus on where you are in this second.  When your mind starts to move back into the past or forward into the future, inhale a deep breath and drag yourself back to the moment.

Move on
Spend less time with people or materials that drain your energy, and more time with those that motivate you.  Try cut back on your media consumption and spend time on activities that empower and inspire you.  Take the time to smile and engage with the people around you, from your beloved family to your best friends.
